Hergenrether Animal Hospital

Waiting on flea medicine for my cats from chewy I'll update post when the prescribed medication comes in an gets tested on cats. But vet was fast an knowledgeable about this field of work thank you 😺 UPDATE meds work great an still my vet for all three of my cats for a few years now thank you

The main doctor is great and is very nice. I just don't respect the fact that they tell you one price at the beginning, and by the time you get to the end of the process that price as increased by $200-$300 and no one apparently has the decency to tell you this as it happens. It's like they like you surprise you at the end. How did they even know I would have to extra $200 Dollars? I find it disgusting and unprofessional. Me and cat phoebe likely won't return.

We really love this vet hospital! They will give you options on treatments and don't push you on treatments, big plus . Dr. Underwood reminds me of the veterinarian I worked with for 7 years, he is very sweet, down to earth and smart . The staff here is very kind, smells clean and very helpful, thank you all ! Thank you for all you have done for us even in very hard times . This vet hospital will be forever our clinic. Thank you Dr. Underwood and staff ⚕️

My sister and I recently brought home our new puppy, Ziggy, a miniature longhaired dachshund, and we were both a little nervous about her very first vet appointment. We remembered the wonderful experiences we had years ago with our childhood Labs, Maxx and Rubie (yes, like the bunnies!), and hoped this visit would be just as positive. The car ride only added to our nerves because Ziggy was pretty anxious. When we arrived, I stayed in the car with her while my sister checked us in. The front desk staff were incredibly understanding and accommodating—they let us complete the paperwork in the car and waited until the waiting room was calmer before having us bring Ziggy inside, which meant a lot! From the moment we walked in, everyone was so warm and welcoming. The entire staff made sure Ziggy felt safe and comfortable (though I have to admit, being an adorable little dachshund probably helped earn her a few extra admirers!). We were so happy to see Dr. H again, as we remembered how well he took care of Maxx & Rubie. As first-time puppy owners and college students, we came with plenty of questions, and he never made us feel rushed or silly for asking them. He patiently explained everything in a way that reassured us, validated our concerns, and helped us understand the best next steps for Ziggy—especially since we'll be heading back to Norman soon. They even sent us home with a few goodies for Ziggy, which was such a thoughtful surprise! On our drive home, Ziggy unfortunately got motion sick and threw up in the car. We pulled into a nearby parking lot and called the clinic because we weren't sure if it was just the car ride or related to the medications she had received. Without hesitation, they told us to come right back and even gave her an anti-nausea injection free of charge so she could be more comfortable on the trip home!! To everyone working that day—thank you. Thank you for making not only Ziggy's first vet visit such a positive experience, but ours as well. You treated her with so much kindness and made two nervous first-time puppy owners feel completely at ease. You've set the bar incredibly high, and finding a vet clinic for Ziggy in Norman is going to be a tough act to follow. We are so grateful for the exceptional care you gave our sweet girl!
